Offbeat Mara is located in the quiet 74,000 acre Mara North Conservancy, north of Masai Mara National Reserve. This area is full of wildlife and has limited number of safari camps to ensure an unspoilt safari experience. The camp is small, comfortable and unfenced with a local lion pride regularly seen nearby.

The main activity at Offbeat Mara is wildlife drives in the 300 square kilometers Mara North Conservancy, both day and night drives. A full-day wildlife drive into the main Maasai Mara National Reserve is included for guests staying for three nights.
Guided walking adventure is another main activity in Offbeat Mara. The walks usually start early in the morning and finish with a late breakfast. The walks can be as short or as long as the guest like. Lions are often seen on the walks.
Fishing in Olare Orok River is another activity at Offbeat Mara Camp. A perfect spot to catch a catfish or a tilapia.
Offbeat Mara is a small safari camp situated within the 74,000 acre Mara North Conservancy and sits near Olare Orok River. Mara North Airstrip is one hour drive to the camp.
Offbeat Mara consists of only seven tents, five doubles/twins and two family tents. All the accommodation tents are en suite with flush toilet and hot bucket shower. Each tent has its own veranda and is carefully positioned to offer wonderful views of the plains.
