Kicheche Valley is an upmarket and unfenced camp set in a secluded, wooded valley in the eastern part of the Mara Naboisho Conservancy, with tents raised on platforms. It is a sister camp to Kicheche Bush Camp and Kicheche Mara Camp.
Two major activities in Kicheche Valley are both day and night game drives, along with game walks with an armed ranger. During the migration season (July to October), guests can spend a full-day visiting the main Maasai Mara National Reserve to catch the wildebeest herds.
Guests walk from Kicheche Valley to Kicheche Bush Camp and stay overnight at Kicheche Fly Camp. They depart Kicheche Valley Camp after lunch and walk for about 14km to the fly camp, where the staff will have cooked a meal over the fire. The following day, they return to Kicheche Valley Camp, arriving in time for lunch.
Kicheche Valley Camp is located on the eastern side of the private Mara Naboisho Conservancy, hidden in the valley under Acacia trees. Kicheche is very near to the Ol Seki (Naboisho) Airstrip, 30 minutes’ drive.
There are six spacious tents, all of which sit on elevated platforms. The tents have either twin or double beds and are well furnished with desks, sofas and luggage racks. Bathrooms are en suite and have flushing toilets as well as hot water at all times. Electricity and plug sockets are available for use in the tents and can be used at any time throughout the day.
