It sits in its own 10,000 hectare private concession area in Loliondo. Klein's leases this land from the Masai and is for the exclusive use of the guests who stay here.
Because game drives are conducted in a private concession, guests do not encounter vehicles other than those from Klein’s, allowing the rare luxury of relatively private animal sightings while benefitting from the wildlife riches of the neighbouring Serengeti.
It's possible to go on both night drives and bush walks in the concession area. Night drives are also possible in Loliondo which gives guests the opportunity to view nocturnal wildlife and the bush in a totally different light. Guests can go out for guided walks lasting up to half a day.
Klein's Camp can also organise a visit to the local village, Ololosokwan, to get a taste of the local Masai culture and daily life.
Due to its location on the path of the Great Migration, Klein's Camp makes a great base from which to experience the annual zebra and wildebeest migration, which passes through this area between October to November as it makes its way south.
Deep in the game-rich Northern Serengeti in a 24,700 acre conservancy leased from Maasai Community. The camp is 10km from the Klein's airstrip.
Klein's Camp has 10 cottages, each set on the edge of the Kuka Hills. All of these are well spread out and each has spectacular views over either the valley or the Grumeti River.
Each cottage is beautifully has en suite bathroom as well as a private veranda. The veranda offers spectacular views and the chance to enjoy game viewing from the comfort of your cottage.
Klein’s Camp boasts two spacious cottages that make up a family suite. The cottages are connected by a protected walkway, which allows easy access between the cottages while maintaining complete privacy.
