Dunia Camp in Serengeti

Dunia Camp in Serengeti

Dunia Camp is a small luxury tented camp in central Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. This elegant camp is in a good area for seeing both the wildebeest migration between December and March, and the resident game of the central Serengeti all year round. Often, the camp is referred to as the "ladies camp", it is Tanzania's first and only safari camp to be fully led and run by female staff.

Dunia is actually a permanent camp but has the same high-quality feel and construction as its sister mobile camps - Olakira, Ubuntu and Kimondo, which all move according to the wildebeest migration, as well as the permanent camp, Namiri Plains.

The site of the camp is excellent for big cats, as well as being one of the few parts of the Serengeti where there are resident rhinos. The camp is located near a rhino conservation area which means that you are able to view these majestic animals while staying at Dunia.

Pre-dinner campfires and communal dinners are some of the many ways guests at the camp, but it is also possible to take dinner in a private area of the bush so as to maintain the romantic atmosphere.
